Zach Gildehaus

    Zach Gildehaus joined Edward Jones in 2013.  He is the strategist of business owner advice and guidance on the Client Needs Research team.

    Prior to his current role, he was a senior analyst in Investment Manager Research (IMR) at Edward Jones where he spent more than six years covering both active and passive strategies across several asset classes.

    Prior to joining Edward Jones, he worked at Bank of America as a commercial real estate underwriter working on deals from $5M to $100M, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a bank examiner assessing the stability of banks during the financial crisis, and as a financial planning assistant at an RIA assisting with the development and presentation of financial plans.

    Zach attended Webster University in St. Louis, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2009, a master's in business administration (MBA) in 2011 and has since taught both finance and economics courses for its MBA program.

    He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2015, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® (CFP®) designation in 2019, the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designation in 2022 and completed a certificate in executive presence and leadership from Wharton in 2022.

    Zach is a contributor to Edward Jones Perspectives and has been featured or quoted in various print and broadcast media.

    Zach and his wife, Tiffany, live in St. Louis, Missouri with their son, Nolan.
